MOX NOX, Joan Cornella

I really enjoyed reading this book by Joan Cornella. I found all of his short illustrated stories to be punchy and often surprising. What I wanted to capture in my review was this kind of morbid surprise that he often incorporates into his narratives. I felt that exploring the style he uses was an appropriate method of responding to the book as I'm a big fan. Only thing I would've changed would've been my chosen media as I decided to use fancy felt tips however I hate the marks that they leave! Gouache could've looked fab.. Enjoyed this!
